[SMM Hydrogen Energy Policy Update] Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region: Announcement on the List of Proposed Projects for the "Unveiling the List and Taking the Lead" Initiative of the Autonomous Region's Science and Technology "Breakthrough" Project in 2025

Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region released the "Public Notice on the Proposed List of Projects for the 2025 Autonomous Region's Science and Technology 'Breakthrough' Project 'Call for Bids and Awarding'."

According to the proposed list of projects for the 2025 Autonomous Region's Science and Technology 'Breakthrough' Project 'Call for Bids and Awarding', there are six hydrogen energy-specific projects, which are as follows:

Research and Demonstration of On-board Hydrogen Refueling Systems for Long-haul Trunk Line Freight Transport and Integrated Refueling Stations for Hydrogen and Battery Swapping for Heavy-duty Trucks by Jiaoneng Ronghe Technology Development (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd.;

Key Technologies and Demonstration of Megawatt-class Alkaline-PEM Hybrid Off-grid Hydrogen Production Systems by Envision Zero Carbon Technology (Chifeng) Co., Ltd.;

Key Technologies and Demonstration of Large-scale Green Hydrogen Co-firing in Flexible Peak Shaving Coal-fired Power Units with a Capacity of Millions of Kilowatts by Huadian Inner Mongolia Energy Co., Ltd.;

Research and Demonstration of Key Technologies for Solid-state Storage, Transportation, and Application of Green Hydrogen by Inner Mongolia Yipu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.;

Development and Application of Key Technologies for Wide Temperature Range Fuel Cell Stacks by Inner Mongolia Jieqing Technology Co., Ltd.;

Research and Validation of Aviation Hydrogen Energy Power System Technologies for eVTOL by Ordos New Energy Research and Application Co., Ltd.

Public Notice on the Proposed List of Projects for the 2025 Autonomous Region's Science and Technology 'Breakthrough' Project 'Call for Bids and Awarding'

In accordance with the "Notice of the Department of Science and Technology of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on the Release of the Technical List for the 2025 Autonomous Region's Science and Technology 'Breakthrough' Project 'Call for Bids and Awarding'" (NKGZ [2025] No. 12), the "Notice of the Department of Science and Technology of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on the Release of the Technical List for the 2025 Autonomous Region's Science and Technology 'Breakthrough' Project 'Energy Storage and New Power Systems' Special 'Call for Bids and Awarding'" (NKGZ [2025] No. 13), and the "Notice of the Department of Science and Technology of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on the Release of the Technical List for the 2025 Autonomous Region's Science and Technology 'Breakthrough' Project 'Rare Earths' Special 'Call for Bids and Awarding'" (NKGZ [2025] No. 14), the proposed list of projects for the 2025 Autonomous Region's Science and Technology 'Breakthrough' Project 'Call for Bids and Awarding' is hereby announced for public comment from June 4th to June 10th. Those with objections should submit written materials within the public comment period; late submissions will not be accepted. Materials submitted by individuals should include their real names and contact information, while materials submitted by organizations should be stamped with the official seal of the submitting organization. Anonymous materials will not be accepted.

Our department solemnly declares that staff members of the Autonomous Region's Department of Science and Technology have never assigned any tasks unrelated to normal management work to project applicants or undertaking units, nor have they requested any services unrelated to normal management work from project applicants or undertaking units, such as promoting various products or books, or even soliciting money under various pretexts. Science and technology departments in all regions are requested to enhance their awareness of prevention, strictly guard against deception, and promptly remind relevant staff members and enterprises to stay vigilant.
